SYNOPSIS

dwww-build-menu

DESCRIPTION

dwww-build-menu is part of the dwww package, which provides access to on-line documentation on a Debian system via WWW.

dwww-build-menu generates the Debian Documentation Menu pages (available on http://localhost/dwww/menu/), from files registered with doc-base program, found in the /usr/share/doc-base directory.

For compatibility with previous versions of dwww, dwww-build-menu parses also files in directory /var/lib/dwww/menu-method, generated by dwww method of update-menus(1) program.

The generated pages are stored in DWWW_HTMLDIR/menu directory (default is /var/lib/dwww/html/menu.

Configuration file for dwww.
/var/lib/dwww/menu-method
Directory with doc-base like files generated for backward compatibility by update-menus(1).
/var/lib/dwww/html/menu
Default directory for generated menu pages.
