NAME
stored - daemon to store compressed document copies
SYNOPSIS
stored [options] [configfile]
DESCRIPTION
stored is a TCP daemon which stores compressed copies of indexed documents
stored listens to TCP connections and can accept several indexers from different machines. Theoretical number of indexers is about 128.
Stored document copies are retrieved by means of storedoc.cgi CGI script. It requests a saved copy of a documents from stored, then a copy is displayed with user's web browser with search keywords highlighted.
This manual page was written for the Debian distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.
OPTIONS
- -w /path
- Use /path as the working directory.
- -p n
- Listen to the specified TCP port.
- - v n
- Verbosity level, this is a number betwee 0 and 5.
- -h, -?
- Print the help.
