man update-f-prot (Administration système) - Debian maintenance script for F-Prot(tm) for Small Business
NAME
update-f-prot - Debian maintenance script for F-Prot(tm) for Small Business
SYNOPSIS
update-f-prot [-i] [-f] [-d directory] [-n]
DESCRIPTION
update-f-prot is a shell script that can be used to either update F-Prot(tm) virus definitions or to upgrade the entire F-Prot(tm) installation. It is a part of the f-prot-installer package for Debian GNU/Linux.
OPTIONS
The default action when called without parameters is to call the check-updates(8) script, which will check if new virus definitions are available, and if so, will download them.
- -i
- Check for a newer version of F-Prot for Small Business. If a newer version is available, it is downloaded and installed.
- -d directory
- Use files from directory instead of downloading them from the Internet (affects only F-Prot installation but not the download of new virus definitions)
- -n
- Don't check for virus definition updates.
- -f
- Force reinstallation of F-Prot(tm) even if available and the installed version are identical.
