aria - a download tool

SYNOPSIS

aria [options]...

DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the Aria download manager.

Aria is a download tool similar to Reget or GetRight. It downloads files from Internet via HTTP or FTP. The transfer can be paused, resumed, queued and saved. It has very friendy GTK based GUI, and useful log consoles. Program supports CRC checking, HTTP proxy server, cut-and-paste, drag-and-drop, and can define specific file retrieving procedure for particular web servers.

OPTIONS

-g, --get URL

-d, --dir SAVEDIR
save directory
-r, --ref REFERER
referer
-u, --url-list FILE
open URL list
-c, --crc-list FILE
open CRC list
--basket
Show basket and iconify Aria
-v, --version
print version information
-h, --help
Show summary of options.
--initrc
initialize resource files
--geometry WIDTHxHEIGHT+XOFF+YOFF
set the size and position of main window
--thread-limit-override NUM
if you want more simultaneous downloads...

ARIA CONTROL OPTIONS

The following options are effective only when another aria is already running

-s, --start
start all downloads
-p, --stop
stop all downloads
-a, --again
re-download all items
-q, --quit
quit Aria(with no confirmation)
--list-name
show the name of the current list
--list-prev
switch to the previous list
--list-next
switch to the next list
--list-delete
delete the current list
--clear-complete
clear downloaded items
--ls-complete
show URLs downloaded
--ls-ready
show URLs waiting in queue
--ls-error
show URLs in error
--ls-run
show URLs now downloading
--ls-stop
show URLs stopped
--ls-lock
show URLs locked
--ls-all
show all URLs in queue
