man cheesetracker (Commandes) - SoundModule Tracking Program
NAME
cheesetracker - SoundModule Tracking Program
SYNOPSIS
cheesetracker [filename]
DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the cheesetracker program. This manual page was written for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.
cheesetracker is a clone of the Impulse Tracker program. It is used to create sound modules, by combining samples in waveformat in such a way that when played it becomes music. It's not hard to learn, just load up a few ready made files, and experiment with it. The files need to be in 'ImpulseTracker' format, .IT is the extension. A good start for these modules is ftp://ftp.scene.org/pub/music/
