NAME
effectv - real-time video effector
SYNOPSIS
effectv [options...] [effect name]
DESCRIPTION
EffecTV is a real-time video effector. You can enjoy movies, TV programs and any other video stream through the many amazing effects. Run EffecTV and push Up/Down arrow key to change the effect.
EffecTV accepts options and an effect name. In most cases you need not to set any options and name. You may specify a device file name and a channel number to see the input source you want.
EffecTV can be launched from any effect you want. Put an effect name after the command name ("effectv") or option(s). It's case-insensitive, and a trailing "TV" can be omitted.
OPTIONS
- -help
- Show usage (help) information.
- -device FILE
- Use device FILE for video4linux (default is /dev/video0).
- -channel NUMBER
- Channel number of video source (default is 0).
- -norm NORM
- Set video norm (default is ntsc). One of ntsc, pal, secam, pal-nc, pal-m, pal-n, ntsc-jp.
- -freqtab FREQTAB
- Set frequency table. One of us-bcast, us-cable, us-cable-hrc, japan-bcast, japan-cable, europe-west, europe-east, italy, newzealand, australia, ireland, france, china-bcast, southafrica, argentina, canada-cable, australia-optus.
- -fullscreen
- Enable fullscreen mode.
- -hardware
- Use direct video memory(if possible).
- -doublebuffer
- Enable double buffering mode (if possible).
- -fps
- Show frames/sec.
- -size WxH
- Set the size of capturing image to WxH pixels. (default 320x240)
- -geometry WxH
- Set the size of screen to WxH pixels.
- -scale NUMBER
- Set the scaling. When the capturing size is set, the screen size is scaled by NUMBER.
- -autoplay FRAMES
- Changes effects automatically every FRAMES.
- -palette {rgb24,rgb565,rgb555,yuv422,yuv422p,yuv420p,yuv411p,yuv410p,grey}
- Set the palette of capturing device. It is detected automatically by default.
- -vloopback FILE
- Use device FILE for output of vloopback device.
KEYS
- Up/Down
- Change effect.
- Right/Left
- Change TV channel.
- Space
- Capture a background image(for FireTV, BurningTV, etc.). Change mode(for SpiralTV, TransFormTV).
- ALT+ENTER
- Fullscreen mode(toggle).
- TAB
- Flip images horizontally.
- Escape
- Quit
