man ftwmv (Commandes) - ftwmv

NAME

ftwmv - file tree walking mv

SYNOPSIS

[-v]FROMTO

DESCRIPTION

moves FROM to TO by recursively descending in FROM and running mv on each file separately. The difference with calling mv FROM TO directly is that mv will start deleting FROM only if it has copied it to TO entirely, whereas will delete each individual file as soon as it has been copied.

OPTIONS

-v, -verbose
Print the name of each file as it is being moved.
--help
Display a list of options.
