SYNOPSIS
gtk-imonc [-n] [-t command] [-m] [-p password] [-h] [-v] [host]
DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the gtk-imonc command.
This manual page was written for the Debian distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.
gtk-imonc is a tool to monitor and control a fli4l router. fli4l is a one-diskette router for ISDN and ADSL which can be extended with a variety of add-ons, while requiring no special Unix skills. It is particularly well-suited to connect small networks to the Internet.
gtk-imonc integrates well into the GNOME desktop. Optionally, it can reside in the Notification Area of the GNOME panel or other Window Managers/desktops that support the respective freedesktop.org standard (e.g. IceWM, XFce, KDE 3).
gtk-imonc can:
- Open and terminate an Internet connection;
- Toggle dial mode between "auto", "manual" and "off";
- Switch the default circuit;
- Display traffic and cost statistics;
- Notify you on incoming telephone calls;
- Display the list of telefone calls (requries the logging option of telmond to be enabled.
- Reboot the router;
- Perform some administrative tasks;
- Display fli4l news;
