NAME
ickle_control - external command-line control for the ickle client
SYNOPSIS
ickle_control [options]
DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the commands that ickle_control may take for controlling ickle.
OPTIONS
A summary of options is included below.
- -r, --running
- Determine whether ickle is running.
- -b, --configdir DIR
- Use DIR as the ickle configuration directory. Default is ~/.ickle/
- -t, --timeout [TIMEOUT]
- Wait at most TIMEOUT seconds for the next command to succeed. Omit TIMEOUT to return immediately.
- -s, --status [STATUS]
- Set/get status. STATUS can be one of: online, away, na, occupied, dnd, freeforchat, offline.
- -i, --invisible [BOOL]
- Set/get invisibility.
- -a, --away [" MESSAGE" ]
- Set/get away message.
- -c, --addcontact UIN
- Add a new contact.
- -m, --send UIN MESSAGE
- Send MESSAGE to user UIN.
- -o, --sms UIN MESSAGE
- Send SMS to user UIN.
- -q, --quit
- Terminate ickle.
- -h, --help
- Display this help and exit.
- -v, --version
- Display ickle version and exit.
