man phpix-create-new-instance (Commandes) - phpix instance installer

NAME

phpix-create-new-instance - phpix instance installer

SYNOPSIS

phpix-create-new-instance [option] directory

DESCRIPTION

phpix-create-new-instance is basically a little script to create a new phpix instance in the specified directory by copying from or creating symlinks to the master files in /var/www/phpix/.

The config.inc from /etc/phpix/ is copied too and can be use to override the default options locally.

Note:

Copied files aren't updated when a new package of phpix is installed.

OPTIONS

-h
Display a short help message explaining the command line options.
-s
Symlink phpix files instead of copying them.
This option guarantees that your local instances always use the newest version of phpix. For this mode to work FollowSymLinks must be switched on in apache's access.conf.

SEE ALSO

phpix (1), apache (8).
