man wmifs (Commandes) - window manager improved 2 filesystem
NAME
wmifs - window manager improved 2 filesystem
SYNOPSIS
wmifs
[-s
socketfile]
wmifs
-v
DESCRIPTION
wmifs is a socket-based fileserver which is used for binding other fileserver filesystems to a specific namespace. It routes filesystem accesses to the specific fileserver and behaves to the outside as one master filesystem.
OPTIONS
- -s socketfile
- lets you override the default socketfile which wmifs should use for connecting fileserver clients.
- -v
- prints version information to stderr, then exits.
FILES
- this file is the default socket file used by wmifs.
CUSTOMIZATION
wmifs is used to setup a user-customized global virtual file system namespace, where all other running fileservers are mounted to specific prefix namespaces.
