This manual page documents briefly the xbannerconfig commands. xbannerconfig takes one of three mutually exclusive options.

install: This adds xbanner to the configuration of all displays managed by xdm but only if no display current executes xbanner during xdm management.
remove: This removes all traces of xbanner from the xdm configuration files.
force: This forces xbanner to run for every display managed by xdm. It is equivalent to using the remove command, followed by the install command.
