xlc - Gtk client for Linesrv

DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the xlc command. This manual page was written for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution because the original program does not have a manual page. This program does not have options. Once xlc has started, you have to connect to a LineControl server. For this you have to supply a login (username/password) that you can configure by the menu File->Configuration. To save your auth information just give a "touch ~/.xlc.cfg" while running xlc the first time. Once connected, you can start/stop a connection, or monitor the Internet Connection Status (other client, from another box could start/stop the connection...) If the server is properly configured, xlc lets you shutdown the box where the LineControl daemon is running.
