NAME

xmms-config - script to get information about the installed version of xmms

SYNOPSIS

xmms-config [--prefix[=DIR]] [--exec-prefix[=DIR]] [--version] [--libs] [--cflags] [--plugin-dir] [--data-dir] [--visualization-plugin-dir] [--input-plugin-dir] [--output-plugin-dir] [--effect-plugin-dir] [--general-plugin-dir]

DESCRIPTION

xmms-config is a tool used to determine the compiler and linker flags that should be used to compile and link programs that use xmms. It can also be used to determine the directories where xmms expects plugins. It's also used internally by the .m4 macros for GNU autoconf that are included with xmms.

OPTIONS

xmms-config accepts the following options:

--version
Print the currently installed version of xmms on the standard output.
--libs
Print the linker flags that are necessary to link xmms to a program.
--cflags
Print the compiler flags that are necessary to compile a program that uses xmms.
--plugin-dir
Print the directory where xmms plugins are stored/expected.
--data-dir
Print the directory in which xmms misc. data is stored/expected.
--visualization-plugin-dir
Print the directory where xmms visualization plugins are stored/expected.
--input-plugin-dir
Print the directory where xmms input plugins are stored/expected.
--output-plugin-dir
Print the directory where xmms output plugins are stored/expected.
--effect-plugin-dir
Print the directory where xmms effects plugins are stored/expected.
--general-plugin-dir
Print the directory where xmms general plugins are stored/expected.
--prefix=PREFIX
If specified, use PREFIX instead of the installation prefix that xmms was built with when computing the output for the --cflags and --libs options. This option is also used for the exec prefix if --exec-prefix was not specified. This option must be specified before any --libs or --cflags options.
--exec-prefix=PREFIX
If specified, use PREFIX instead of the installation exec prefix that xmms was built with when computing the output for the --cflags and --libs options. This option must be specified before any --libs or --cflags options.
